Text from Habakkuk 3:17-18

The prophet Habakkuk has a conversation with God in which he learns of coming destruction to Israel, and yet his faith remains steadfast.

In this piece for mixed choir, we hear the uncertainty in the opening polyphony, and then the resolve as all voices come together for the first time at "Yet I will rejoice"
